The Universal Charger is a custom charger board for robots built with OpenMower. It handles battery charging for converted mowers and connects to the rest of the system via the Universal Logic Board’s I²C interface.
Beta: this hardware is still in a beta state — expect things not to be fully working yet.
The bigger picture
OpenMower turns cheap off-the-shelf robotic mowers into smart, RTK-GPS-guided robots. The charger is one of the building blocks that makes a full conversion self-sufficient — the robot returns to its dock and tops itself up between mowing runs.
