My well-equipped electronics lab supports board bring-up and systematic fault finding. I inspect waveforms and frequency spectra, check power supplies, and solder and rework boards, including SMD components.

Across disciplines
CAD & system integration
I use Autodesk Fusion 360 and Alibre Design CAD to design enclosures, brackets and mechanical parts around the electronics. Connections, available space and assembly are considered from the start, alongside the PCB and firmware.

Programming and testing
Automated test stations
I combine programmable lab instruments with custom test software for repeatable tests. This lets me flash boards, check functions and record measurements automatically. Battery simulation also helps test charger behaviour.
