A prototype behaves differently from what you expected and your team needs help investigating. This package addresses a specific bring-up question or a reproducible hardware/firmware fault.
Before starting, we determine whether the investigation needs hardware at my bench or can use documentation and existing measurements. Shipping, required accessories and return arrangements are included in the proposal where applicable.
What you receive
- A record of the setup examined, checks performed and observations.
- A diagnosis with supported causes or a narrowed set of hypotheses.
- Practical recommendations for changes and subsequent verification.
- A findings discussion, including remaining questions.
What I need from you
Expected and actual behavior, reproduction steps, board revision and relevant schematics. For firmware issues, source code, build instructions and programming access help. We agree the required test devices and accessories before commissioning.
The agreed boundary
We investigate one fault on one device or board revision within an agreed effort allowance. Completion means a documented investigation, diagnosis and next steps. A complete fix cannot be assured for every problem within that scope.
Design changes, component replacement, firmware implementation and additional test campaigns take place within the agreed scope or under a separate engagement. You retain control over additional work and costs.
